Lisbon-Skopje-Thessaloniki: Homecoming Europe - Five reasons why Macedonia should start the negotiations

The Policy Brief was elaborated in light of the up-coming Lisbon Summit of the European Union and the expected decision for opening accession negotiations with Macedonia. It offers an explanation what is the road that will lead Macedonia to EU membership, and argues on the reasons why the Council should give date for opening of accession negotiations to Macedonia.

The success of the brief was further strengthened since it was put forward as a topic for discussion at the meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee of the European parliament and the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia in January 2010.
