The Choice of Macedonia

This failiure to solve the issue - who has the right over the name Macedonia - the country, or the province - has proven to be too expensive for Macedonia at an international level. The status quo is good for Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. The recently elected Prime Minister thinks he has the support of the public to postpone the solution to the name issue. He also has benefits from the blaiming Greece for the stagnation in the accession process. Macedonia's isolation as brought by Greece is facilitating the position of Prime Minister Gruevski to always have a new excuse.
